Lori developed her culinary talents over many years of experimenting with different styles of cooking and recipes.  Her baking talents started very young when she would “help” her Great Grandmother and Grandmother in the kitchen.  While in high school she worked as a cookie decorator at the local mall, never dreaming that first job would come full circle and become her career later in life.  What once was mastering "Cookie Monster" on a giant cookie is now creating Wedding and other specialty cakes to mark all occasions. 

After working in an office, behind a desk, the routine 9 to 5, for many years she decided to return to school to get a degree in Culinary Arts.   While still in school she held a variety of jobs in hotels, retirement communities, nursing facilities and even a grocery store bakery.  Each gave her a different view and education of the food industry and educated her in a variety of diet requirements and needs.  Her artistic talents were enhanced while working as a pastry chef at a bakery and an upscale retirement living community.  

Lori is Certified in Hospitality Management, has a Degree in Culinary Arts and has worked alongside some of the best chefs in Austin Texas.  She attends classes and seminars to keep her skills and knowledge base up to date.
